This drone uses the Hasselblad L1D-20c camera and Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution (HNCS). As a result, skin tones and landscapes look more natural. You can also capture sharp 20-megapixel aerial photos for web and print.
1-inch sensor for better low light
The 1-inch CMOS sensor helps when light drops. Therefore, footage stays cleaner at higher ISO than smaller-sensor drones. This is handy for winter days, late sunsets, and early starts.
10-bit Dlog-M and HDR video
The DJI Mavic 2 Pro supports 10-bit Dlog-M, which keeps more colour data for grading. In addition, it supports 4K HDR playback, so highlights and shadows hold together better. That means more room to shape the final look in post.
Adjustable aperture
The adjustable aperture (f/2.8–f/11) gives you more control in changing light. For example, you can open up for darker scenes, or stop down in bright daylight. This helps you keep motion looking smooth without fighting exposure.
How we use it on shoots
We use this drone for establishing shots, location reveals, and smooth tracking moves. It works well for property, construction, events, tourism, and brand films. However, we always plan flights around the location, the weather, and the shot list.
