An Exciting New Adventure

We’re proud to have provided kit and crew for Ant Middleton’s Ready for Anything, a live streaming adventure show filmed in Keswick in the Lake District. This 24-hour survival experience combined top-level production, a stunning location, and the drive of a true adventurer.

A Test of Resilience

The project brought Ant Middleton back to the wilderness for a survival challenge in partnership with the AA. Best known as the Chief Instructor on Channel 4’s SAS: Who Dares Wins, Middleton tested resilience, adaptability, and leadership in real time. He drew on his background as a soldier, Everest climber, and survivalist. Every choice carried weight, and the live format gave viewers immediate insight into those decisions.

Filming in the Lake District

Filming in the Lake District National Park — a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2017 — gave the show a dramatic backdrop. Rugged peaks, deep lakes, and fast-changing weather added to the intensity. This location gave the production its raw, authentic edge and highlighted one of Britain’s most iconic landscapes.

Behind the Camera

Our crew delivered a strong technical setup to capture every angle. The shoot used two Sony FS7 cameras for cinematic coverage. A drone operator flew the DJI Mavic Pro 2 to record sweeping aerial views. A sound recordist kept audio sharp, while multiple GoPro cameras offered audiences a gripping, first-person view of survival in action.

Streaming to Audiences

To bring the experience to viewers at home, we partnered with StreamGo. Using LiveU technology, they streamed the show continuously over 24 hours. This allowed audiences to follow the adventure as it unfolded, a true first for this type of survival format.
